Mindfullness is the foundation of every moment

When I started My Body My Pilates in August 2017, my purpose was to share the benefits I’ve experienced through my own Pilates journey.
As we all know, in Pilates, mindfulness is the foundation of every movement. Instead of simply going through the motions, we focus on our breath, our alignment, and how the body moves—so we can optimize movement patterns. This awareness helps us move more efficiently, build strength, and live pain-free.
Now, I’d love to share another practice that has deeply transformed my life: meditation

Meditation is a formal practice that trains the mind. Most methods use mindfulness—such as observing the breath or gently watching thoughts—to develop concentration, calm, and clarity. It’s like going to the gym for your mind.
I began meditating in 2022, just 15 minutes in the morning and evening. In February 2024, I deepened my commitment by joining Paramahansa Yogananda’s school, Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF), to learn time-tested techniques of meditation.
Though it’s only been 1.5 years, the change in me is profound. I feel less caught up in stress, overthinking, or reactive patterns. I’m learning to create inner space—space for calm, acceptance, and clarity.
Is this something you’re looking for in your own life—a way to feel calmer, more focused, and more at peace?
Whether you’re new to meditation or curious to deepen your practice, this class is a space to simply breathe, slow down, and reconnect—with yourself.
You don’t need any experience. Just come with an open heart and a willingness to be present. We’ll guide you through gentle breathing and quiet reflection. It’s not about “clearing your mind” or “doing it perfectly.” It’s about showing up for yourself—just as you are.
Just like Pilates strengthens the body with awareness, meditation strengthens the mind with stillness. Together, they support a more resilient, peaceful, and balanced life.
I truly believe these practices can bring more ease, clarity, and strength—not only in how you move, but in how you live.
I look forward to sitting with you soon. With love, Helen
