February 2025 Newsletter - Prioritize your heart health today, with Pilates!


Highlights this February



Did you know that heart disease is one of the leading causes of illness in Japan, contributing to over 15% of all deaths each year? Maintaining a strong and healthy heart is essential, and Pilates could be just the solution you need.

At My Body My Pilates Studio in Tokyo, we’re passionate about helping you strengthen your body from the inside out. Pilates isn’t just about building core strength and flexibility—it also promotes better circulation, reduces stress, and enhances respiratory function, all of which contribute to a healthier heart.

This month, we’re focusing on heart health and how mindful movement can benefit your overall well-being. Whether you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner, our tailored sessions are designed to meet your unique needs and help you embrace a heart-healthy lifestyle.


Plus we wanted to share about our  inspiring student, Ron came to us looking for a way to feel stronger and more energized throughout the day. After some consistent Pilates practice, here's what he had to say:

We adjusted some of the classes for 2025 - you can access to details here and also see on image below.


We have added two new classes to the schedule. On Thursdays from 12pm there will be a Reformer Level 2 class with Kiri and on Sundays at 12pm there will be a prenatal Pilates on mat with Helen.

Check out our dates for Pilates Instructor Training Course for 2025. You can see our schedule here. Be sure to enroll early as places are limited. We keep our groups small for maximum attention to every trainee instructor. We have  the Movement Principles component followed by Mat Course, Reformer Course and Apparatus Course. Please note that you need to complete Movement Principals before doing any other courses. We are always available to answer questions if you have any.
