Move with Gratitude, Ground in Strength

Over the past two years, as I’ve been studying Yoga Philosophy and deepening my meditation practice, I’ve found myself appreciating life on a whole new level — both in its challenges and in its joys. Gratitude shows up in the smallest things: noticing the rain and knowing I don’t need to water my plants, meeting beautiful souls and sharing moments of connection, giving and receiving love in everyday experiences.

As we step into November and the season of Thanksgiving, it’s the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and appreciate how far we’ve come this year.

Pilates reminds us that gratitude isn’t just a feeling — it’s something we express through mindful movement, steady breath, and the way we show up for ourselves. These practices continually remind me that life is full of quiet blessings — if we pause long enough to notice them. 

And that’s what I hope each class at My Body My Pilates offers you: a space to move mindfully, breathe deeply, and reconnect with that quiet strength and gratitude within. OOV, fundamental and beginner Pilates classes and Gyrokinesis are especially beautiful ways to practice mindfulness while building strength from the inside out.
