Hello everyone, I am Helen, the founder of My Body My Pilates. This is first time I use video format to deliver newsletter.
The reason is that this theme we are going to focus in April has been important part of my life for almost 4 years. And it has been expended since last year.
In April, Our theme is Meditation. The golden cure, the only cure to Stress, depression for complete mental health.
Some of you already knew in 2023 I went through big challenges, my life was a mess, constantly dealing with conflicts and stress. Luckily I have Pilates, my studio was my only happy place at that time. Beside Pilates what helped me went through the tough period is my daily meditation practice, morning and evening twice a day.
Did you know we store our stress, depression and trauma in our body? All those tension stays in our body when our mind forgot about the bad experience.
You all know Pilates helps us to release the tension in our body. Then how about our heart, our soul? Meditation!!! Meditation helps us release the tension through our soul, so the tension doesn’t get to stored in our body.
Do you agree we make better choice when we are calm? Meditation helps us restore calmness in our soul, so we can use it whenever we need.
Pilates makes my body stronger and healthier now at 45 years old than at my 20s, I want to share Pilates with you. Meditation helped my soul in peace and joy, I want to share Meditation with you.
I want to build a safe place for us to nurturing our inner peace. We will start with offering a Free mat Pilates class followed by guided Meditation every Tuesday at 6:30pm in April.
Due to limited space, please make reservation online like regular class, if you know you can’t make it, please cancel in your pilates account, to let other people get the chance.
